Love Me and I'll Love You Back
Now you don't really believe that, do you?

If the world is this easy, why would there be so many movies, songs or sorry tales revolving around the wretched theme of unrequited love.

This is Gregory the gorilla. I can’t remember when I started naming furry toys. Not only were they christened, they all acquired individual personalities. Gregory is shy, not openly affectionate and tends to keep his thoughts to himself.

There was at least one person for whom I had been making scores of excuses for. For the longest time, I had held with high regard, this person’s stance towards me, probably even bordering on being delusional. No more excuses, stop and face the facts. Advice aplenty, I’ve ignored many a reproachful finger, and my friends have probably resigned to the fact that I am entrenched in this state of inertia.

And the culprit? Old photographs, items and surroundings. I guess it is a matter of choice, some of us choose to blot out sore memories whereas others opt to wallow in them. Well, I do both depending on my mood. Not exactly progressive but we all do make our own beds.

Memories
May be beautiful and yet
Whats to painful to remember
We simply choose to forget
So its the laughter we will remember
Whatever we remember
The way we were
